Our goal is to place designs in stores. Have you gone into J.C.Penny lately and noticed that the designs are mostly styles that fit the country it's production was out-sourced too? That is appropriate, also, as our country itself is a collection of all cultures! But, those of us who enjoy southwestern, New England, hip-hop, emo, and other styles would like to be able to find OUR style in stores in America now, because it's time for the people in the U.S.A. to wear clothes, sleep on sheets, and eat on dishes that create our "home" emotion.

Mission 1: Designs that have coordinates, whether articles of clothing, furniture, linens or dishes, harmonizing in color, design element, material, or style, designed to be worn or used together.

Mission 2: Connection between fabric designers and digital textile print.

Mission 3:Produce fabric coordinates for existing products.

A search for the most beautiful dining room in the world yielded this lovely room above. It's found in the refectory of a monastery on Mount Athos in Greece. Add sights to my next European visit, but this one may be unusual. I'd have to ask the monks who so fortunately eat lunch among the murals. Are you wondering how to add some of this beauty to your own home? It's not impossible or difficult if you know how to get started. Murals can be stenciled but start with a small project, perhaps something in the kitchen.

You can easily choose and purchase stencils on many site, but why not create your own? With the technology available today of altering and printing the design on paper, and transfer that to mylar plastic sheets. Purchase stencil creams, just like make-up but much easier to apply than paint. I make my stencils more than one layer. If you print the pattern at least three times, and lay the mylar on top, and cut various areas that don't touch. As many as possible, then use the paint to apply that stencil to the next printed sheet.

Carry on until every space is cut from the mylar. Then as you apply your cream to each stencil on the way, waiting till it dries in between sheets so it doesn't smear. You'll end up with a lovely design. If you apply the cream to an open spot, don't cover that 100%, leave some different shades, and even some without paint at all. You can even use two colors if you apply that correctly. Practice on paper first.

Your room won't be as fantastic as the room in the refectory, but it will add something special to rooms if you be careful of the style. Not many stenciled comtemporary rooms these days. Southwestern, Victorian, Country, and many more will accept this creativity. I'll put mylar and stencil cream on our craft supply site. Some craft supply stores don't have that many colors available, but if you get the primary colors, and secondary at least you can mix your own.

I'm getting ready to rehab 4 houses in the Cincinnati area, so I'll be posting pictures of the whole process. Stenciling walls is quite an inexpensive way to make a room look lovely. Also, I do the art tiles, for floors, countertops, bathtubs, bathrooms, and sometimes up walls. I also use my multi stencil process on art tiles, which keeps them looking similiar enough to tile an area, but also have this uniqueness to each tile, as I add small art flourishes. When I rehab homes, it does make the value high for the beauty and style, and that's what this site is all about.
